Please pray for my friend, Ami, who has battled cancer for many years (even though she is only two years older than I). It's just a matter of time, now, for her. Ami is Jewish, and has a very strong faith in God's promises to His chosen people. She's a devoted wife and mom, and I'm sure she is ready to meet God when the time comes.

Please pray, too, for her husband and son, who must stand vigil now and who will miss her so very much.

Thanks for your prayers.

Update 11/17:

Ami went home to Our Lord this afternoon, with her family at her side. She will be missed by many, but all of us who knew her in this life are glad, in spite of our tears, that she is free from the suffering she's endured as a cancer patient.

Thank you so very much for praying for Ami, for her family, for her friends and medical team, and for me. Even though we knew, this week, that today would come (as it did, in God's time), it's still hard. Your prayers mean so very much.
