not big, it started just outside of town but the wind is occationally pushing it towards residential areas.. as long as the wind cooperates it's moving away.

Even the areas that are under evac warning are just level 1 (warning to be prepared, not actual evac).. and we're not in one of those areas.. just close to them.

It's just unsettling to not have contact with the kids.. plus I"m not sure exactly when to pick them up

Thanks ladies.

They've got a retardant line around it.. working on dozer lines.. no more smoke column though we still have a strong smoke smell hanging around.. which is actually a good thing, means there's little wind and that's a good thing for stopping a fire.

But we're pretty sure dh's day off tomorrow is canceled
