My dear friend (and doula) assisted in the birth of our son Saturday night/Sunday morning, and was diagnosed with a brain tumor Sunday night. She underwent surgery on Wednesday. The surgery went well, but prayers for an uncomplicated recovery would be greatly appreciated! She will be moved out of ICU tomorrow, then hospitalized for a further 5 days at least.

I have not heard if the tumor was biopsied, but the type of tumor is typically non-cancerous and slow-growing. The surgeon was optimistic that it had been completely removed, and the prognosis is good, but the family would still welcome prayers.
