I run a home daycare and lost 2 little ones, their mom was able to change her work arrangements so that she no longer requires childcare, it's a blessing for their family. However that cut my income in half.

I have an interview on Friday, it sounds promising and I had another inquiry tonight, and hope she calls in the morning to set up an interview.

This income loss has been very hard for us, we only cover bare essentials, if I don't obtain new little ones, there will be no extras, no music lessons, no swimming lessons, at the moment I'm not sure if there will be even back to school shopping. We pay cash only, so if it isn't in the bank, it isn't happening. It's also stressful, knowing if something comes up there is little to pay for it, we have very little to add to an emergency fund.

Please pray that it goes well and that come September, I've replaced the lost income which would give us a little breathing room.

I'm very thankful that the timing to lose the little ones was good as we have less expenses in the summer, less gas, no lessons, no bus passes, less utilities.... I know that is a blessing, we aren't falling behind. However a little breathing room is good.
