Rose came home from the hospital on Saturday - 6 days! - much earlier than we expected. She is doing great and we hope this is a sign of things to come for her.
Thought you might like to see a summary of our week in pictures. Thank you Mary M for helping me with this. :)

In our family photo around the bed, Nick, next to me, has a full leg cast and Luke, in front of him, as you can see scrapped up his face while he was staying with my sister during the surgery. We were a bit of a sight.
The nurse we had that day happened to be a friend of my friend, Bea, who I mentioned would be in Fatima while we were in the hospital. This nurse is also Catholic and not only let us all in the room to visit Rose, but prayed with us. Our cardiologist also came in right at that time.
Anyway.....I am more emotional this week when looking back at the pictures. So much has happened these past six months and it seemed we were always waiting for this big day and now it's over and so quickly, too. It is a good feeling!
Hope to share more good news about the adoption very soon.
