Dear friends, please pray for a miracle for our step-parent adoption, if it be God's will! If the biological father does not appear by phone this Thursday, we have to wait another month. The biggest reason this is a problem for us is that we have my Mom here from out of state, as a babysitter for our children, and she is the only babysitter we have. If he will agree to appear, we can wrap this up and be done with it, which is a 13 year weight on my heart. Dear friends, I cherish you prayers!

Thank you, dear friends for your prayers! we truly feel them.
Our lawyer miraculously got ahold of the bio-father, and he SAYS he plans on appearing in court. He lives 450 miles away, so it is in doubt, but regardless, we appreciate beyond words each and every prayer for this intention. May God reward you all!
BTW court is 2 PM this Thursday, May 16, Central Time.
God's will be done! Jesus we trust in Thee!

Just to clarify, if he doen't show up for the meeting on Thursday you will have to wait another month?  Does it matter that he *said* he was going to be there?

Dear friends, your prayers are working wonders! Our lawyer just called again and said that he has been scouring the law for interpreting the stute of whether we can go forward tomorrow with finalization of the adoption. If the biological father doesn't show-up, we should be able to finalize the adoption!!!! 
Please keep storming heaven that he won't show up, especially as dd now has to be there for part of the hearing, and I know if he sees her(which he never has, not even a picture), it will spur him on to fight the adoption harder, as there is enough of a resemblance it would strike him. Thank you so very much for upholding us this week, it has brought such peace, and God is truly answering prayers.

Yes, we've been pleased with his attitude, willingness to take the case, and going to bat for us this week. And, he's Catholic, too!

Thank you, Erin! It'll be a little less than 9 hours from now. My greatest prayer of today is that the her biological father does not show up, we have worked so hard to protect her from him from before her birth, he lives one of the most degenerate lives of anyone I have ever personally known, sad o say he was good at hiding that when I first knew him, and then when I started to see it, it was too late, and I went through a lot that scarred my heart and soul for life. Our sweet girl does not need to ever experience this person in her life. He has never fully given up trying to contact me or my family and "at least get a picture of her", so my human heart fears that he would still travel over here, on the hopes of fighting to get to see her, but mt spiritual heart knows God is bigger than anything and everything, and He can protect us, as He always has.
Please pray, dear friends, that we have wisdom in how we arrange things at the court, and for who is watchng the other children. We're trying to discern who should go to be with dd while we're in the hearing, to help keep her protected in case he does show up. That if he does, he will not be in the same place at the same time as she is, and he won't see her.
Mary Queen of Peace, please pray for us, especially my mothers' heart!
St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, please pray for and watch over us all this day!
St. Jude, patron of the impossible, please intercede for us this day!
Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Our Sweet Patroness, pray for us who have recourse to thee, protect us and guide us, and intercede that we have wisdom in every matter this day!
