Please pray for the son of Dancing Daughter's godparents, who is being interviewed by the Coast Guard today.

He must pass this interview in order to be considered for Officer Candidate School.

With sequestration in effect, the likelihood of him being able to serve is small, but he's trying anyway. I know he'll appreciate your prayers.

The interview went well, but some kind of paperwork glitch has caused his package (paperwork, interview results, etc.) to be delayed; he now can't submit it until October. This may or may not be good...but it's just the way things are for now.
