My friend is driving home (four hours away) to be with her mom, who was rushed into surgery today after having a CT scan. It's quite serious.

All prayers appreciated!

Update 3/5:

My friend's mom is out of surgery. The surgery went fairly well, but the surgeon could not entirely solve the problem, so she's headed for a lot more testing and possibly a second surgery when she's stronger. Meanwhile, she will need lots and lots of monitoring and help. Please keep praying.

Update 3/7:

Such happy news today! Post-surgery testing revealed no ongoing problems!!! My friend's mom can go home and heal without worrying about complications. She will need to be monitored, of course, as she recovers, but this truly is the best of all possible outcomes.
