You may have heard about a shooting at a police station here in Northern Virginia yesterday. One officer died. I received the following prayer request about the other officer:

Please pray for Mike Garbarino, one of the Fairfax County police officers who was shot and critically wounded yesterday at the Chantilly substation. His condition is touch & go at this point. He and his wife Sue are very devout Russian Orthodox, homeschooling parents of two young girls. Their family and friends are requesting prayers from the community. Feel free to pass this on.
