Please keep Father Luke Suarez in your prayers. He is a priest at St. Rose of Lima in Newtown, CT.
He's only been a priest for a couple of years, and he is having to deal with so many things right now- not only the shootings but also threats to himself and his church and heckling by the media. The Monsignor he works with is older and not in good health. It is a very hard time for both as they try to provide comfort to the affected families and their parishioners.
If you have a moment and could send a Christmas card or word of encouragement to the rectory, the address is:
Father Luke Suarez
46 Church Hill Road
Newtown, CT 06470
Fr. Luke has said that only the prayers his parish is receiving is keeping them going. His diocese is without a even a bishop currently

The priests of Newtown have been instrumental in consoling the grieving families. They definitely need our prayers!

It's neat to see the Communion of Saints In action. The original email was from his sister who is part of our homeschool group and our parish. Yesterday at PE the children made spiritual bouquets for him.
He is definitely in our prayers.

I just read about this on a blog as well - word is getting out and prayers are increasing. My prayers are with him, and all who are ministering to the families and people of that community.
Prayers for strength, wisdom, peace and protection for evil.
