Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My parents live far. Far from any of us kids. My sister and her husband and currently visiting and dad is acting REALLY weird. My sister will be talking to my mom today. I want him to get to a doctor that will listen to my mom and help. I think they are just throwing pills at him and hoping it works. This is so hard. My sister is not one to jump on things like this and SHE is worried.(I have been worried for about 2 years).
Thanks again to the best prayer warriors

I live far away from my parents too. It's tough. Praying lots for him and you.

I will pray, Anne! I know what it is like to be far from parents.

The silver lining is that your sister sees why you are concerned and is prepared to talk with your mom in person. I'm thankful your mom has devoted daughters who care so much for her and for your father.

I will pray hard for this important intention.

Praying! Parent issues are difficult enough without distance compounding everything.

I will pray for you today. I take care of my Dad, and sometimes he gets a little difficult to handle. It is usually due to lack of oxygen in some parts of the brain. Not diagnosing or anything, but I am glad you and your sister are concerned to do something. How about another doctor with a different opinion?

It is soo hard to see your parents go through health issues, as they were the ones who took care of US. Keep your chin up, and I will pray for strength for you. Bridget
