Update 3 (Fri)
I was up to see him on Wed. I got to snuggle with him for 45 min while my sister left eat  (they can't have food in the NICU) He is darling! Long and skinny, with a lot of dark hair. Looks mostly like his mom, with some hints of dad around the forehead.
He is nursing like a champ when she is there, but getting a bit of formula at night... (long story, but whoever told her she could have family donate milk was wrong, it's against policy, and the milk bank is strictly for preemies which he isn't....)
He is doing well all around, and is only being kept because of the IV antibiotics which still have a few more days to go... They are expecting him to be released Tues.
She is still pretty miserable with C/S pain, but I expect once they are home for good she will improve much faster.
Thank you all so much for your prayers!!  He has had literally hundreds of people praying for him, and I am sure it has made all the difference in the world!!

Update 2 (10 pm Tues)
Baby is improving by leaps and bounds! Sister was released this afternoon and went straight to baby, she is still rough, but so very happy! Baby Judah is off all oxygen and tubes. She fed him his first bottle of milk (she has pumped enough for that and 2 more) if he takes all 3 good, she will get to breastfeed him tomorrow.

Update 1: Mon 10-8
Baby is doing much better today! Only on c-pap now, and they might even try a feed tomorrow. He is scheduled still for a spinal tap to look for problems yet...
Unfortunetly she spiked a fever and doesn't get to leave until at least 24 hrs on antibiotics and is heartbroken not to be with baby

Please lift up in prayer my sister, Desiree and her new baby, Judah James, born by emergency C/S Sat night (6 lbs, 13 oz, 22 inches)
Baby Judah was transferred from her hospital to the children's hospital the same night, he is listed in critical condition right now. They have heard an
overwhelming amount of info (but some conflicting). Basically what we know is the cord was wrapped around him multiple times, he most likely swallowed meconium and his white blood count is high, possibly pointing to an inter
uterine infection... He had a transfusion Sat and is on 80% oxygen. The prognosis is good, but they have a long road ahead of them. (they are saying 3 weeks in the hospital if everything goes great...)
He is still on an IV, but she is pumping (just a bit of colostrum so far) and a friend loaned me her pump, so I started pumping a backup supply, so she won't have to worry about them pushing formula.
