Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

4Real Friends,

I am so thankful for your prayers...I hope our membership will join me in praying in thanksgiving to Our Lord for your devoted prayers, which demonstrate your faith in God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and in the intercession of our beloved Saints.   I know that God answers your prayers, because He has answered your prayers for my dear ones.

Perhaps you don't realize how your prayers affect the world around you. I am thankful every day for your prayers, and I pray for your intentions, voiced here and held in your hearts.

When my mom's friend asked for your prayers for her newborn grandson, you prayed, and he was healed. The graces from that one healing have spread through my mom's circle of friends. I get phone calls asking specifically for your prayers, and some of those requests come from people who have doubts about our Holy Faith. Your prayers make a difference.

My mother-in-law, who's not a member of any organized church, now calls me to ask for prayers for her friends and family. I'm happy to report that her brother, our Uncle Glen, is home and recovering well after his heart attack. w

My local homeschooling friends are happy to know that you are willing to pray for their intentions. I ask them to pray for yours, too. Your prayers for my former student, Andrew, have definitely been heard and answered!

My Catholic friends around the country appreciate your prayers and are so happy to know that you pray for them. Your prayers support my friends who are studying to be priests and deacons, recovering from cancer, looking for work and so much more.

This is the Body of Christ living out the Gospel...right here in our online community of believers. When it all seems difficult, turn to our members and ask for their prayers, or just ask for a special intention to be remembered.

If you had told me when I joined this online group that my extended family would be calling me and asking for you to pray for them, well...I'm just grateful that I have been part of those little miracles...you've been at the center of them all. I have no words to thank you, really, because I'm just the conduit for so many requests...even from people I didn't think believed that Catholics would pray for them.

May Our Lord bless you for praying me and mine through so many crises, and may His love envelop you and yours.

I regularly pray for your intentions. Thank you for praying for mine!

I'd like to add my thanks as well. From personal experience I know that this is an amazing community of faithful prayer warriors. Your prayers are powerful! God bless each of you who take the time to lift up prayer intentions.

Nancy, what a powerful testimony to read your extended family asks for this community to pray for them!

In thanksgiving for everyone's prayers here, too... Prayer is so powerful...

Nancy, thank you so much for the reminder. So often, we do not know what becomes of our prayers, but we need to remember that they are always heard!!!

This board and the prayers have been a tremendous help in my life as well. Thanks to all!

There are many silent prayer warriors as well, like me. that pray for the intentions on this board but do not always post. Thank you to all the prayers that are given in silence!

Thank you Nancy for sharing!

Yes, indeed! Like Lara, I too am often a "silent warrior," but I take your intentions to Mass with me every time I go. Thank you all for all your prayers for my own intentions, and for being a community of prayer. That encourages me no end in my own rag-tag prayer life!

Sally

Nancy, joining you in prayer of thanksgiving for the prayer warriors at this forum. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through some of the things our family has been through without these prayers. What a comfort and blessing ALL of you are at this prayer forum. I have seen anwers to prayers several times and the comfort of knowing that when intentions are prayed for..whatever the outcome..knowing that the "yes" or 'no" is completely God's will through the support of prayer.
THANK YOU!

Praying in thanksgiving as well. God is so good to give us this additional way to connect within our universal faith, especially those of us who may not have this kind of support nearby.

Thank you all for your faithfulness and prayers!

God is so good to bring us all together here and allow us to unite our prayers in a very powerful and grace-giving way. I, also, am grateful for all the prayer requests, the answers to prayer, and the prayers that are said every day by all of you.

I pray for all of your intentions, even when I don't post. It is a joy and a privilege!

I came here this morning to look for Thanksgiving ideas and found this gem of a post. now my eyes are full of tears of thanksgiving for this forum, and each one of you!

oh, how I have missed the community here ... life chaos has kept me offline since late summer but so often I would lean on the knowledge that you were still all here, even if I couldn't join in. we have been traveling extensively (kids and I alone for 5 weeks on the Mainland, visiting the sisters I have so often begged you for prayers about) and I often reached out in faith that those who say "and praying for all your intentions" really meant it, even when I hadn't posted them. and even in the worst moments, I immediately felt that sense of peace and grace that I have come to identify as "4Real prayer power."

our God truly is one of miracles. thank you all, so very very much, for manifesting that grace here on Earth.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS, and may God bless you!!

oh, and I should add: I continue to lift you all up in prayer, especially those in most need of His help and mercy ... and those who can't post!

This board has literally carried me and my family through many, many surgeries, moves, pregnancies, scary hospital stays....I love all of you and am so thankful for a very real, tangible sign of the Mystical Body of Christ right here. Plus, ya’ll can be pretty amusing as well.

Again, giving thanks for all of your prayers. This is how I start my day, usually, by joining in prayer with you all. May you have a blessed Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for!
