Please pray a small prayer for my 2yr old dd, she has a very bad rash down low. We have tried coconut oil, and yogurt w/ probiotics with no success. Now sh has a blister which popped open yesterday.Nothing has helped her. :0(
She is 2 - is potty trained only wears diaper at nap and over nights. She is not complaining when she has to go and is not going over frequently so I have no issues in that area. I will say her pee is so very strong in ammonia right now it almost knocks you out when you get her in the morning.
Please guide your prayers to her food for the next week or so as I think I am left with removing all sugar- NO sugar of any kind, nothing-flour, sugar, fruit, etc all NO NO's for now. Suggestions would be great, when you wipe the poor thing it just hurts and if you try to put anything on it, it just stings or is very uncomfortable. Please keep her in your prayers

Praying for her! One of my nine-month old twins has a rash so terrible that she developed a blister and it popped too. Awful. This was about two weeks ago. Frequent diaper changes, keeping the area clean, and try putting 100% pure lanolin on her. It will help. ....poor dear.

Praying she gets some relief. If you use cloth diapers, it sounds like your diapers need to be stripped.

Yes, if you are using cloth diapers for nap or night, try stripping them, or I had success with grapefruit seed extract in the wash, and it killed whatever was causing the rashes.
I had trouble with such issues myself this pregnancy, it was very painful. I found that cornstarch on the rash ara brought such relief.

If you really think it is fungal then you may need nystantin to treat. Fresh air would also help it needs to dry and oil will make it worse. zinc is a good moisture barrier at night. Corn starch is good too. Praying she feels better soon.

I wonder why her urine smells so strong though? That seems like an odd thing to be going on at the same time, don't you think? Perhaps she has a bladder infection due to a staph infection from the blister. (just a thought...) You might want to get that checked into, make sure she stays well-hydrated, and perhaps try cranberry juice for the bladder? Does she have a slight fever? Praying that she is on the mend soon. I would second the cloth diapers possibly being a problem. They don't see to get as "fresh" as I had pictured them getting in the wash. If it is just the diaper smelling, and her urine looks fine, i.e. not dark yellow etc, then, it is probably just the diaper needing to be "stripped", which I never did, but sounds reasonable! But, if her actual urine is strong smelling, you may want to look into why that is.

Thanks everyone.. I have tried many of the mentioned things and things are looking better. Not so red. Hoping to continue to see relief.
