My husband had surgery yesterday to remove a kidney stone. The surgery ended up being pretty complicated. He now has a stent in. They were only able to remove part of the stone (they had to blow it up with a laser). Last night, he had to go back to the ER because a clot was blocking his bladder and he had almost a liter of fluid in his bladder which caused very serious spasms. He was able to finally rest this morning. He has a catheter in, but we are hoping it can come out tomorrow. We were supposed to leave for vacation on Friday, but that is now unlikely. Please send some prayers. Thanks.

I will pray for both of you. I never had the surgery, but did battle stones and had lithotripsy done 10 years ago with a stent put it. It was painful. I really feel sorry for him, and for you watching him suffer. Hang in there.

Thanks for your prayers, ladies. My husband did pass the stone today, but is still having trouble emptying his bladder. I think we will need to go to the ER again tonight. Please send continued prayers. It is so hard to watch the man you love suffer.
