Can you all offer up a prayer for my husband who will be having Vitrectomy eye surgery today at 9:30am. This is his second eye procedure since February to repair a detached retina. Please pray for his doctors and that the operation will be successful this time. Also pray that I can be a loving and compassionate wife as I will need to take care of him while he is on bedrest the next two weeks.

Praying with empathy! We are also going through this process, as my dh had a detached and torn retina last summer. I will be praying for a successful surgery and a quick and complete recovery for your husband, also for patience and a compassionate heart for you! Praying right now as he begins his procedure.

Caroline, has your husband already had the surgery? How many has he had. Has this been an on going thing for you and your husband since last summer, is this what I can expect? My husband's retina was also torn and detached. Thanks for your prayers. Getting ready to leave for the hospital right now.
