For some background, in September, I found a lump in my breast. I had it checked out, while still nursing my almost 2-year old. They determined it to be nothing of concern, a lactating adenoma. Usually they resolve with time. I went yesterday for a follow-up ultrasound, since I have weaned my son and it had been several months since the first ultrasound.
The lump is still there, unchanged. The tech checked with the radiologist to see if he wanted any more pictures, and he came in to take a few more pictures himself. That alone started to worry me! Usually the radiologist doesn't come unless there is something more. So, he took some pictures, and said that not only was the lump unchanged or becoming smaller, which he was hoping for, but now there are other dilated ducts. He is sending a report to my doctor, and we go from there.
I am nervous, about what it could be, why the lump hasn't resolved, about the likelihood of needing a mammogram. For now, I can't do anything but wait, and since I have plenty of other things to worry about, I have put this to the back of my mind...but it is still there.

Thanks. I am anxious today. The base clinic called me, in fact, the doctor called me, which never happens. She told me that I need to have a biopsy, which will be scheduled soon.
I am upset! I am only 31, have breastfed 4 children, had good health.  Why is the Lord giving this cross to me, on top of my husband's health problems right now?
(He could use prayers, too. In January he had an intestine infection, now he has severe hemorrhoids and is seeing a surgeon next week.)
