Our daughter, Rita, age 8, has decided to raise money through donations, and shave her heard - the money goes to St. Baldricks, which provides money for research for childhood cancer. For more information, please see the Community Bulletin Board post.

The Duhawk is the Loras College mascot. While in college we always wondered just exactly what a duhawk was..we just assumed it was a Dubuque Hawk..shortened to Duhawk. Anyways at any given time someone would yell, "Duuuuhaaawwwk" and there was always someone else who would say it right back. Good luck to your daughter.
