Please say some prayers for a parish members teenaged son. He was driving this morning and hit a tree head on. He was unresponsive at the scene.

The newest info
He is in the ICU in critical condition. Next 24 hours are crucial.
Update 1/17

He has been in a medically induced coma since the accident.

Update 2/1

James woke from his coma last week. He is doing better than doctors had expected. He has been communicating with his family. He has a long way to go but we are all optimistic.
Sorry for the delay in updating. My family has been battling a nasty stomach flu.

I am sending prayers. We had a similar thing happen to a teenager right in front of our house. I was with him when the paramedics got there. His heart stopped twice and he wasn't breathing. He is now in med school. I will send up prayers!
