Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

please pray for a dear friend who is scheduled for a D&C   today. they have known for several weeks now that little Teresa was with Jesus but they were hoping the miscarriage would happen naturally.

and while I'm asking, can you please pray for her husband, too? he recently was diagnosed with essential thrombocytosis and has been suffering some depression. they are a beautifully devout homeschooling family with 7 children ... well, 8 now I guess.

thank you. lifting up all your intentions too.

ETA: their godson added all the emoticons ...

Praying for peace for this family, to intimately feel God's love surrounding them.

thank you all for your prayers! during the final sonogram they discovered that all the baby's tissues had been re-absorbed back into the mom's body. my friend wrote, "what a mercy from our God! Baby was all cared for!"

and I wanted to share this too: they had been praying to St. Therese throughout this process, who of course promised to send roses from heaven to let us know our prayers have been heard. well, the nurse who was prepping them for surgery was named ROSE!

thank you again. I know they appreciate your prayers as much as I do.
