I have a meeting tomorrow at the parish. We are going to being the proceedings to have my marriage convalidated(not sure if this is what will happen due to more complex issues).
I'm really really nervous, and anxious. I really am looking forward to returning to the sacraments, as for now, I am not able to. I am respecting that, I am here by my own doing.
I've been told it can be a fairly personal and almost invasive, so I'm as a result my stomach is just in a knot. I have no idea what to expect, that is my biggest downfall, the unknown.
Please, pray for me, that I get through this, that everything will turn out right.

I just received the phone call, the dispensations were granted, and the convalidation has been approved!!!
For anyone who is ever looking for info on radical sanation or retro active convalidation - it took several weeks to complete all the paperwork. But once it was sent in it took about 5 weeks to get approval or disapproval.
I am so thrilled that this is granted and my spiritual house is coming to be in order

I could start singing now :)

Praying for you strongly! These kinds of things that are close to the heart and nerve wracking can be so difficult! 
Come Holy Spirit and please ease her nervousness, bring the peace that surpasses all understanding, and give wisdom to all those who are part of any decision making process!

My marriage was vailidated about 3 years ago on our 6th anniversary. I didn't find the process overly invasive. We met with our Deacon once a week for a few months. There were some personal questions but nothing too uncomfortable. Returning fully to the Church after not practicing for 20 years was well worth the validation process. My husband was baptized and confirmed at the following Easter vigil.

Thank you everyone! I'm so nervous about all of this, as my husband doesn't want anything to do with the church. He doesn't oppose the kids going, or myself, but not him. I'm a little concerned that this will all stall because of it.

My husband wasn't planning on converting either. Through the process of all of the meetings we attended he had a change of heart. Our Deacon was very good...

Well, I survived the meeting. I was shaking as I came in. Fr. Michael came to call me in, and it all melted away. There were still some moments of discomfort,but way easier than expected.
We have started the process. I return on Tuesday evening to move on to the next step. So hopefully I don't get worked up yet again. He did say the questions can get a little harder, but I should be ok.
Thanks for the prayers, I'm sure that is why the anxiety went away.
