May I please ask you to include my intention with yours when you go to Mass? It is for my DH and opening up his to adopt.   We have 7 children already, but I truly feel God wants us to do this.

My DH is worried about the financial aspect of it. That if we adopted locally, they would say no because of his salary. Which is stable, but true we just make it paycheck to paycheck. That's always been his concern starting from child #1. And of course, God has always provided.

Hopefully you and your dh can gather good information together to make an informed decision. Income is one of many factors considered. I'll pray that you find someone locally who is very knowledgeable on these matters and who can be truly supportive and respectful of your family.

If you plan to work through your local services for a state funded adoption, feel free to pm me, as our family worked in the AZ system for a few years.
