We are once again not pregnant this month and our infertility treatments go into full swing this month most likely. I have some lab work and an ultrasound schedule tomorrow morning and I am already a complete nervous wreck. I am worried of not making the right choice...we've discussed enhanced cycles alone and enhanced cycles with IUI...and I am so scared.

Thanks everyone. Went to the specialist this morning and had Day 3 labs run again, and an U/S. Just tired of all the testing

I was in your shoes once. Infertility isn't something I'd wish on my worst enemy. I'm sorry you have to go through this :(. I remember all that testing - it was exhausting. I felt like i was having blood drawn at least once a week, and then all the ultrasounds, etc. Ugh! Not fun. Adding that to the stress of wishing for a baby and not conceiving can be maddening.

First thank you to everyone for the prayers.
Secondly, yeah not having a blast with the minimum 35 min. drive to the doctors and then scared of making the wrong choice. I have a saline sonogram next week on wednesday. DH is having his tests run again on Monday.
Just really struggling with my frustration and anger at everyone, everything. Really not wanting to be mad at God but I can't be made at anyone else either. Just trying to keep the faith and trying to remind myself to trust in God and that things will happen in His time not mine.

Infertility is a heavy cross, and of the many procedures to address this cross, not all are in line with Church teaching. I will pray for the Holy Spirit to grant you and your husband wisdom as you seek procedures that conform with an open-ness to life and never disrupt the gift of self you and your husband make to each other. Perhaps a Catholic counselor from the Pope Paul VI Institute could help you navigate some of these areas so that you will have good direction and more peace thanks to their perspective?
Many prayers as you travel down this road. May God's will be done in your life, and may the peace that comes from living out His will be yours in abundance!

Yeah I know I don't want to go IVF/IUI. That's what they are suggesting along with a stimulated cycle. I've looked at PPVI. Thank you Jen :)

I am praying for you all, especially that the Holy Spirit will guide you and give you peace. It is so hard to want a baby and yet to not be able to have one! But God's knows why His timing is perfect and He loves you so very much! He will guide you and comfort you as you struggle through finding a treatment. I think the very struggle draws you closer to Him and brings your family countless graces -- the desire to have a baby, use ways that are acceptable in the Church, not be mad, accept His Will and trust, the fear, the *waiting* -- all of these things that you've said are the very vehicles of His grace for your family. They are drawing you to heaven and to Him. Just keep trusting in Him regardless of how you feel, even if you have to tell yourself aloud 20 times a day. He will help you. and lots and lots of prayers!
