I posted last week about the decline of the church in our area, but this week, I have been given hope! The person that they put in charge of faith formation is a homeschooler that follows the Magesterium. There is a lot of resistance to the changes that he is planning on making. We are using the Faith and Life series of books and teaching real, meaty Catholicism (instead of the really watered down books used previously). I am just so thankful because I feel that if we can give the kids a good Catholic foundation, then maybe the church in this area can come back to life! The children really are the best hope. Please continue to pray for our area and all others that have to deal with serious declines in the Catholic church. Thanks ladies!
