Please pray for my sister-in-law, Mary Lu. She was attacked by her own huge dog (a French mastiff) this week. He bit up her forearms to the point that she would have died had she been alone; her husband was able to get the dog off. S-i-l has had surgery and is in two arm casts.
This is a (sadly) childless couple that has always longed for a child. The dog was a great friend and companion, which adds to the pain of the situation. (The dog was six years old and had just rec'd immunization shots. The dog has been euthanized.)
Please pray that Mary Lu will heal. Heal well enough to recover use of her arms and hands (she faces much physical therapy). Heal from sadness of the loss of their companion. Thank you so much.

Victoria, I am so sorry to hear about your sil. I will pray for healing from her surgery and recovery from the emotional trauma. How terrifing.

Victoria, I've been praying and just can't express how sad I feel about this. My heart just breaks for Mary Lu. Our prayers will continue. Please keep us updated when you have a chance.
