I went to the ER last night because when DD3 woke me up at 2:30 to go potty, I couldn't feel the left side of my body, especially my face. I had been sleeping on that side, but I always sleep on that side and never have had this issue. I got a full workup (CT scan, blood work, neurological, etc) and they couldn't find anything wrong. I still have some numbness in my face, but I am so relieved to know for certain that I wasn't having a heart attack or a stroke. I was actually reading Story of a Soul while I was in the ER to keep me calm (since I was worried and starting to have tightness in my chest from anxiety). Thank you God for keeping me safe. Sometimes it is only through fear that we are brought closer to you!

I had a similar episode a few years back -- and they found nothing either. Praying for you and glad it wasn't anything serious!
