My SIL is in labor with her 8th baby. She has been in labor since 1AM (16 hrs now) and is getting very tired. She is having her 4th homebirth and the midwife is getting concerned. If there is no baby soon, they are taking her to the hospital.

They are taking her in. My BIL said the midwife doesn't know why the baby won't come down. I can only assume this means she has been pushing for sometime.

SIL's water broke at 1AM yesterday and labor was very slow and not progressing like normal for her. She was 8cm dialated when she arrived at the hospital, and after some pitocin, Gianna Joy was born just before midnight! 8lbs 10oz. Both her and SIL are doing well.
