Many things are happening, and all are distressing. Please join me in praying for:
My aunt's caregiver, who has not been paid for some unknown reason. She is supporting herself and really needs to receive her paycheck;
A dear friend told my husband this evening that his wife of 20+ years wants to file for divorce. They are Catholic. This is very sad news, especially since we have known them both for so very long. I can't pretend to understand all the issues involved, but I also can't help but think that there is still hope for this marriage...but only one party is open to trying;
My mother is worrying about her own health issues and concerned that my father is working too much (he is 75). Please pray that they can sit down and discuss their future plans very soon;
Several of my work colleagues are openly worrying about the future; please pray that God directs us all to the work He intends us to do, and that we may continue to contribute to our family incomes in meaningful ways.
ETA: One more - the son of my husband's colleague killed himself today, while his father was away at a conference. Please pray for his soul and for his grieving family.
