My brother and sil are expecting their 4th baby in June. My brother is planning to have a vasectomy sometime before the baby arrives or shortly thereafter. I know they have their hands full with all littles (oldest just turned 5) as well as other pressures; however, I hate to see them make this choice. I don't feel like I can say much to them...they know what we think on the issue and any discussion would just be seen as meddling.

I think at this point, however, my sil might have a tubal instead since she's been scheduled for a c-section.

So, if you could just pray for their hearts to be changed I would really appreciate it.

I will pray for them. Are they Catholic? Would it be possible to offer some gentle guidance or resources that might help? Maybe Life-Giving Love by Kimberly Hahn?

Just a thought. You would hate for them to make a rash decision only to regret it for the rest of their lives.
