Ladies,
I need some very special prayers for my family. For the past year we had been looking for a puppy for our family. We found one a week ago from a pet non-shelter rescue. Well, we just had to give her up back to the rescue!!!!
She had a very aggressive ringworm that we were not told about. Which meant that my kids had to stay away from her, no touching and holding and we could not have any contact with other dogs or have anyone over for at least 6 weeks. Yes, I know very cautious but what the vet recommended. That initial bonding time was essentially taken away. She was already having bonding issues (we think because it hurt her to be held).
We are so very sad, she had come into our hearts already. How could the foster family have lied to us and risked my kids health??? I am so upset!!! The president of the rescue was appalled that we were lied to but that does nothing for my children. especially my second daughter who is just in her room crying.
Please pray especially for me since I was left with the very difficult decision to surrender her. My head tells me it was best but my heart is just....broken. I broke my little kids hearts by sending this dog away but I KNOW it was best.
Thank you and please know that you are all in my prayers constantly.

Well, just when I begin to doubt, the Lord just surprises us! My sister has a friend who had a Yellow Lab/Golden retriever mix that he was trying to get rid of. He had 3 small dogs and had gotten this puppy without thinking about how big she would get and was DESPERATE to not have to worry about her anymore. We took her to the vet today and adopted her:)
Kahlua is now a part of the family and is healthy and ready for puppy kindergarten!!!

I am praying for your family, especially the children, and also that the puppy gets the treatment she needs. This is very sad, all around.
