Dear sisters, please join me in praying for the people of Joplin, Missouri who were devastated by a tornado this morning. Lord, I especially ask your protection and mercy for all of those still trapped under the rubble. Please spare their lives and reunited them with their loved ones. Lord, have mercy on all the souls of those who have died in this disaster. Blood and water which gushed forth from the side of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

What a tragedy. The photos are horrifying.
I am praying for all those affected by the tornadoes and storms of yesterday.

I was dumbfounded to see the devastation. My grandparents lived in Joplin. That's where my parents met. I actually visited the er at St. John's when I was 8. 
Most of my extended family now lives in Springfield or areas of OK and KS. But Joplin has a huge place in my heart. I've been praying since dh woke me up to tell me this am.  God be with them.
