UPDATE:

My sweet girl did great. The tests all went well. The doctor said there was an area of her esophagus that was inflamed and a sample was taken from there. Could just be from her feeding tube or from the cold she had a week ago. The rest of the scope looked clear, but we should have official results by Friday. She was back to her bubbly happy self within a few hours.

I had posted a little bit about my dds history here before, but basically she had some GI issues discovered around her first birthday that required surgery in October. Tomorrow I have to take her for pre-procedure testing and next Tuesday she is scheduled for an endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy with biopsies. I am praying this is her last medical hurdle. She has been doing really well the last month and has gained 3lbs since CHristmas with the help of overnight supplemental tube feedings. My sweet girl has been through so much and is still such a happy little pixie with such zest for life.

So if you could please pray that this is her last major medical issue to deal with, that the pre testing goes smoothly, that the procedure goes smoothly, that she wakes calmly and easily from sedation (she has an awful time waking from sedation), and that the tests find nothing wrong. Ohhh and if you can spare a prayer for my nerves and perseverance!
