You may remember that our dance school's dressmaker had a very difficult pregnancy. Her son, Gabriel, is now 5 weeks old and was diagnosed this week with severe acid reflux. He's been on reflux meds but it looks as though they will need to take him to specialists and get extra help for him. He's such a sweet, beautiful little boy...and his parents adore him...I'm sure you remember what it is like when your first child becomes ill and you can only hold him and offer comfort because he can't tell you how he's feeling.
Please pray for baby Gabriel and for his medical team, that Our Lord will help them to discern the best treatment plan for this much-wanted, much-loved little baby.

Aw, praying for the little one. And having gone through a mild reflux with our son, praying with empathy that the parents can get some sleep.

Poor thing! I remember vividly the many nights at home alone holding a colicky baby. I was desperate and he was only sensitive to dairy -- no reflux. Sending many prayers for their family, doctors, and little Gabriel!
