Hello all,
I am new here, and am asking for prayers for my baby, Patrick, who is 5 mos old, and has Infantile Spasms. He is on some heavy duty medication which causes terrible side effects like brain atrophy and an enlarged heart, high blood pressure, and other things. The medication, ACTH is not working, and we are praying for a miracle. (St. Patrick, pray for us). He is going on another medication for 2 weeks (Vigabatrin), and will have brain surgery if that medication meets with no results. He needs to have zero seizures in order for the medication to be effective. Thank you for your prayers. - cmmom to my kids 9,8,6,4 & 5 mos

I’m glad you let us know, so many of us on this list have special needs kiddos, we get the anxiety, the constant stress that is this, indeed, special life of ours. We also like to celebrate small steps together! Keeping you in prayer, dear cmmom....asking the Blessed Mother to intercede for your precious Patrick. Keep us updated, okay? If things become even more urgent, please let us know so we can pray accordingly. I hope you are getting help, I notice you have a lot of littles, praying for a team of “helpers” to do just the right things for you and your family during this stressful time.
