Hello Ladies,

My mom fell in Jerusalem and broke her tibia and fibula. That was two weeks ago and it was not healing so she flew home and now will have surgery at noon today. Please pray for her and the wisdom of her doctors.

I will lift up your intentions at Mass today:)

Update:

Thank you for your prayers. Mom is doing okay but my goodness what a struggle! Her pain pump broke through the night so she had no pain management all night and her foley(sp?) wasn't working properly either. But I think we have jumped over that bridge and now we are working on getting her started on physical therapy.

Update 2-15-11

We just heard that the insurance does not cover her physical therapy in the hospital. This means that tomorrow I will be bringing her home and I'll be responsible for her therapy. Please pray for us during this time. My Mom is a stickler for clean houses and right away everything. With 4 kids that doesn't always happen and I am really stressed out with the thought of her coming home tomorrow (especially since my kids were finally going to have a much anticipated playdate that will now have to be cancelled ) I'm really at my wit's end with all of this so please keep praying that I have the strength to do all that is expected of me.
