Ladies,
2 officers were killed today while serving a warrant here in Miami- Dade County. Please keep their families in your prayers. It looks like they were on a special detail but they were homicide officers. I am a wreck. This has hit too close to home since my husband does the exact same job for our city.
Please say a special prayer for the officers on shift right now and still reeling from this loss.

Mimi, I'm so sorry to hear this. My dh is in law enforcement as well and I'm a reck when he works cases out on the field.

Oh dear Mimi, praying for all souls involved. When an officer we knew was wounded in duty, several years ago, we began praying for police officers every time we see or encounter them. We pray a Hail Mary, then add, "Dear Lord, please watch over those police officers, and all police officers, in the line of duty, in their family lives and in their homes. Keep them safe and protect them and all those whom they serve."
Please dear Lord, grant eternal rest to those fallen officers and have mercy upon their souls. Please grant solace, consolation and protection to their loved ones and their fellow officers who mourn their passing. Keep them all close to your Sacred Heart, sweet Jesus.
