Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It's been over a month since everyone has been well. Nothing too major (aside from my Shingles) so I suppose I shouldn't complain but everyone's had something (except the baby) and I'm just weary and frustrated and growing irritable being nursemaid and not getting any of my "to do's" done.

Oh, and thankfully the 3 yr old is well now too but she's already watched 2 shows, played in water in the bathroom, done her "cutting" paper crafts, sat w/ me while I showered and it's only 10 am!

I feel your pain. we started to get sick on the feast of Guadalupe and someone has been sick since then. Not everyday, but just about.
To tell you the truth, I feel better knowing someone else is going through this, I was getting paranoid it was my housekeeping.

Will pray for health and healing for you and yours.

Well, we are better today (at least my state of mind is). I was getting verrrrry irritable at the kids and then after reading about the poor 2 yr old needing the intestine transplant and the 13 yo that died hiking, I adjusted my attitude BIG TIME.   Doesn't mean I'm not still weary, doesn't mean I'm not still concerned about my own kid's health but I no longer worried about my to do list or being nursemaid. I took my nursemaid role back to heart and was so thankful to be able to do it for them.

for the prayers big and small.
