Ladies,

When we arrived to the auditorium this morning, we found one of the senior company students (he is 19 and at the college) outside very upset. On his way home last night he was held up, robbed and beat up. This is a really good kid who is here in Miami on his own on a dancing scholarship.

When he called the cops last night after the attack he was treated HORRIBLY! (Don't worry my cop hubby is already on that case ) and he was so shocked and upset he just melted into our director's arms crying. (This guy is a very big burly guy, you can imagine how upset he was!)

We now think he has a broken jaw and I am on a mission to find a dentist that will take his case on pro- bono.

Could you please pray for him, his health and his peace of mind. His name is Dameon.   He is our Rat king (Nutcracker) and the children absolutely adore him.

I'll post when I have some more details.


UPDATE*****

We think we found an oral surgeon for him. Keep up the prayers!!!!!

My intentions at Mass this morning were for Dameon. We will continue to remember him in prayer - for healing of body and spirit and for peace and justice. May he know the intimate care of God in all of this and may things be worked quickly for his own greater blessing despite that intense suffering he is experiencing. May God help and guide all those around him to be real friends and support for him. And for all that love him - you know - we want to prevent all evil from ever touching our own and it is painful for the parents when their child hurts. I will continue to remember him with others who are suffering intensely in the Divine Mercy chaplet.
