Next Wednesday, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Lily will be going in for a bronchoscopy, and then they will be taking her trach out, and monitoring her for a few days.....and possibly going home without a trach. 
I go from giddy, dizzy excitement that after three years, Lily will be trach free.....but then as quickly I start to go “there”....you know, that “tomorrow” place...where the Grace isn’t there yet...and all of the "what’ if’s" and "what happens if this happens” kind of interior wrestling match starts inside my head. I trust God is all over this.....He is in charge.....my dh said during one of my panic attacks, “Honey, God didn’t bring us this far to leave us in the ditch”. 
So....can you all, once again, pray for us? Pray that Lily sails through this, she gets out next week without a trach....and we stay healthy.....travel safely, but mostly, that God’s Will be done....and we all have the Grace from Our Lady to do God’s Will. ( I say that and at the same time, there is the little girl in me jumping up and down in front of my Papa, “Oh PLEASE, please, please??? Next week???”
