Hi, all,
Today, my dd and I meet with a local club president in her next step toward being a youth exchange student.
Basically, we need to convince this club that does not want to do this.....to do this for her.
It feel like begging.....sort of.
plus.....someone in their club mistakenly thinks something "bad" about me. It was unjust, and absolutely unfounded, and though logic dictates otherwise.....I am afraid he might let those negative thoughts get in her way. (jerk  ) He is also a co-worker.....
anyway, the appt is at 1pm PST......and I hate going outside my comfort zone 
Could you please pray it goes well?
I am not thrilled about sending her.....I am not going to stand in her way, but help her. I have decided to let God make the ultimate decision

Thank you, Ladies, for your prayers!
The interview went very well. It still might not work out from here.......but, this man wants to help Sarah to make it happen. And, he is going straight to the "top" to find out how to best make it work. Which is GOOD for us...because the "top" knows us and likes us and wants it to work, too. The "top" sent us to this man, in fact.
He was so impressed by how complete all of our applications were. He was nice..............we felt good coming out of the meeting.
Now, we wait.......
Could you please pray for him and the repose of his wife's soul? he was widowed a few months ago. 
I will come back to this same request when the next need arises.

yes......an update: I am too pooped to write more than to say.....we still have no idea where she stands...........and the left the application with the wrong person.....yikes.
Please pray we can move forward (making a phone call tomorrow) and that no one misplaces her ap. It would be an incredible PAIN to regenerate.

a new update: Today I contacted the HEAD of the program...and he has opened a big door for us...but one group has to cooperate to make it happen.
Could you please pray that they will be willing????
I will call him in about an hour.
They do not need to do this...it will cost them.......but please pray they will be open.
