Please pray. My dd is enroute to the fire department and just got reports of tornado on the ground at one of the intersection she crosses. (DD left early before the warning). I'm off to pray some more.

I'm so relieved!!!

We're fine. The tornado rotation went right over us and jumped our house. Scary...but all are fine here!

I have a feeling we'll be trading prayers all day, Janet!

Wow, Janet (and Jen)! The sirens have been going off all day. It is so scary to be in the car when there is a warning, so I can imagine what your dd was feeling. We were at a farm on the other side of town for a pumpkin-picking field trip when the tornado watch started this morning. I wimped out and got back in the car. I just had this image of farm equipment and pumpkins flying in the air while we stood inside a barn. I have only lived in this area for less than 10 yrs, and I am still not used to all the tornadoes!

Jen, so glad to hear y'all are okay. I was praying for you, when I saw that it was hitting your area.

We're doing well, thanks! Still sirens and lots of rain, but no funnel clouds that I see. My house is officially destroyed by my lovely preschool tornadoes after spending the entire afternoon in the house - mostly in the hallway. They spent an entire hour cutting up paper with scissors and feeding the scraps to their dinosaur puppet. We have been so blessed with beautiful weather this fall, that I got used to them wreaking havoc to our lawn rather than our living room.

Hoping that the weather has settled down by now! We got this stuff early this morning. I had just left to take the baby to the doctor when we had our tornado warning. The fact that the well child room was interior and windowless was oddly comforting in that situation.
