We will have "two for one day" at our university hospital on Tuesday. Lily’s distractor removal, set for tomorrow....after 16 weeks....is now bumped to Tuesday....  The surgeon had a funeral to go to tomorrow. My little Peter has an MRI scheduled that day, under a general, of his head, neck, and spine...and they are going to pop some tubes in his ears at the same time while he is under, since one of his ears has had poor hearing and fluid for a year. Lily goes first, and Pete soon after. It should be interesting  Fortunately, these aren’t big hairy surgeries, but Lily is never a piece of cake to put under, and Pete needed three people working on intubating him for the last MRI, his airway is so small.....so, these kiddos aren’t your average airways.
Please pray for all of us, for me to not crash and burn with such a long day...I come off my antibiotic tomorrow....and that was when I ended up in the ER last time a few weeks ago when I had stopped my first round of antibiotics. I am suppose to get my ureter stent out on Wednesday, so next week is a biggie.
I told Nancy that I am trying to smile while I eat the Manna.....but it gets pretty wearisome sometimes.

Praying for all of you. All of these *hurry up and wait* scenarios are never easy. That's an awful lot on one day next Tuesday! I will remember to pray especially on that day.

Praying for you all - my communion tomorrow will be for your brave and lovely children Lily and Pete and for God to especially guide the hands that work on them and all the decisions made surrounding their care. This has been a long road for you all so prayers for your strength and continued grace under pressure also. Wish I could hug you in person, but you will be covered in prayer.
