Hi prayer warriors,
Our Susan, 7 yrs, is having some breathing problems right now- and we seem to be out of albuterol! When I put her albuterol into it's case earlier today, it seemed there was plenty of medicine, but when we went to use it tonight, it was completely gone and we don't have a refill on hand. I started her on a prednisone burst tonight (she was just on a burst from last Fri to Tues!)
So if she gets any worse, it'll be a trip to the ER, which we'd all like to avoid. Her middle name and favorite patron is Therese. Could you all help us out? And know that I always pray for the intentions here...

I will remember her in my prayers. I was just finishing "Story of a Life" about Therese and going through my library to read another book about her....what a God-incidence! I'll pray to our Little Therese!

What a beautiful name your daughter has! We will pray for her.
I am actually going to babysit a little four year old today because she cannot go to daycare today because of her asthma and needing treatments......so, it will be easy to remember you and your Susan!

Update:
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful prayers! About 10 pm last night I remembered some albuterol syrup we had around here, so I gave her that every four hours overnight and that, along with the prayers, helped us get by til I could call the office this morning and have them call in a re-fill.
She was panicky (along with her mom; I just wouldn't let her see it  ) until we started the syrup, then with much back rubbing and snuggling, she fell asleep. She's showing no signs for the worse today - in fact she's gone outside for a bit of fresh air! And me - I could use a nap!
Thanks so much again for all the empathy and prayers!

I just now saw this request, but I also know how good the Lord is at using prayers retroactively.  We know the asthma woes here, too -- so glad to hear that you got through the night without the ER!
