Dear Friends,

My sister Lynn was recently diagnosed with diabetes. In addition to that, she has also lost sight in one eye, and has been told that it is highly likely that she will be losing sight in her other eye as well.

Please pray for her through the intercession of St. Lucy.

Pray for her husband and my other siblings who will have to help her transition to this new life.

I am too far away to do anything but pray.

Thanks for all of your prayers. I know they are bringing solace and comfort where needed.

My sister is a very private person, so her even telling us about this was a big step for her.

God has ways that we don't understand. Perhaps this is his way of reconnecting her with the rest of the family.
