My grandmother apparently blacked out and fell backwards in her kitchen this morning, hitting her elbows, back, shoulder and head. She has just been admitted to the hospital with possible thoracic fractures and a broken scapula. The xrays they did also found a dark spot on one of her lungs. We are waiting for more news. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. Her name is Elaine.

Thank you for your prayers, everyone! Just got home from visiting with her for a few hours, and she is doing okay, but in a lot of pain. The shadow on her lung xray was apparently nothing after all, thank goodness. Hoping they will keep her in the hospital for a few more days to manage her pain and get her more steady on her feet.
