Would appreciate some prayers about my blood pressure which was high at the last prenatal and high again today -- significantly better, but I'd already made some lifestyle changes and it's still high. Probably still need more fluids and a bit more rest. Anyway, I need to get a first-ever NST and AFI and some related bloodwork. Not having other symptoms of pre-eclampsia though (only quite minor swelling. Oh, and my weight gain is a bit on the high side too.) #1, don't want baby to be harmed by this, or me either. #2, since I had 2 c/s before my VBAC with the last baby, I'm not sure if induction is an option if they want to get the baby out earlier.

      I've been praying for you, Theresa. I had high BP w/ #2 after going a week past due and do NOT want to repeat those mag sulfate drugs during labor. I avoided it completely with #3 and am hoping so with #4 due in 5 weeks so I'm right behind you. Last BP reading at dr. was just a smidge high (for me) so I'm joining you with my prayers for decreased BP and calmness and labor and delivery and all that comes after (ya know, those sleepless nights?).

I'll pray for you too, Kathryn. Still waiting to find out if they're going to say "pre-eclampsia" after more testing. But Wednesday the baby looked great on an NST and fluid was also really good. Although my bp is still generally raised, I am, not to say this is a medical analysis, seeming to myself "stable." No headaches, bp not getting any worse at least, weight not increasing at all rapidly...
