Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi ladies,

After a very serious and unexpected allergic reaction about a week ago, my 3yo daughter has an appointment today with an allergist to get skin testing done. She had blood drawn last week and from that, we know we're dealing with quite a few food allergies, but today they're hoping to be able to pinpoint the specific triggers. She is a trooper, so I think the appointment will go fine, but prayers for her and for her doctors are appreciated!

Thank you so much.

Celeste, I will pray for your sweetie. I do hope the doctors can determine her triggers with minimal testing...

Thank you for the prayers! The test went just fine, and I think we have a plan of action now. I'm still feeling a little uneasy about the whole thing, though--questions still unanswered, as well as some changes that will take some getting used to. I'm embarrassed to admit that since the restrictions are pretty mild, really, but we are such creatures of habit here!

Familiar here, too...
I will be praying for you all. There will be an adjustment to a new "normal," but you can do it!!! You are not alone.

Feel free to PM me, too.

Praying for your little girl. We had the same experience with our daughter. Praying she outgrows these food allergies as ours has...

Prayers for your lo and your family. My 3yo has at least a dozen food allergies that includes all of the most common foods that people eat (you name it she can't eat it). Feel free to PM with any questions, I am pretty well versed in all things food allergy related

Celeste, Dear, I have much, much empathy!!! Praying for all of you. It has been tough the last 12 years of our food allergy road....but there are blessings too...like, I learned to cook!
