I learned today that someone we knew at a previous duty station shot his estranged wife and then took his own life yesterday. (She is recovering, as far as I know.) I am very sad...I can't help but think that this was the ultimate cry for help...and I so wish that we could teach our children to articulate feelings and feel good about asking for help when life gets overwhelming.

Please pray for everyone involved...particularly the young son of this couple.
