Please join me in praying for all of our 4Real children who are beginning or returning to college in the next few weeks.
We ask that the Holy Spirit strengthen them in faith and that our loving, Heavenly Father send His angels to guard and watch over them. We pray that our college students will be living examples of our beloved Faith to those around them. We pray especially for their academic efforts, their future career endeavors and their future spouses (if they are called to the married life).
May our college-age children continue to listen to Your call and devote themselves to building Your kingdom.
Strengthen and protect our college-age children, dear Lord, we pray, and give them the courage, fortitude and wisdom they will need during this academic year.
We pray for our beloved college students and for all those pursuing university-level studies through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.

What a beautiful prayer, Nancy. I will be praying. I have a son leaving next week for a semester abroad and have lots of mommy worries in that regard. So would add travel safety to the prayer, too.

Joining in praying. I have a ds returning to college, a dd starting full-time at the community college (she took a couple of courses there during her sr. year of high school), a dd making a huge decision about her graduate school situation. Thank you, Nancy, for your beautiful prayer, and for reminding all of us that these *big kids* need our prayers especially at this time.

I'll be joining the prayer too. My 17yodd will begin college at the local community college and my 20yodd will be entering SUNY Fredonia as a junior.

Bumping this up. Today my son starts college...he's organized all his books and is ready to go...but it's still a big step, for all of us.
I am praying for all the 4Real college students!

Devin started last Thursday and she is so happy!...which helps ease my missing her. It is a bittersweet time...walking by her empty room...
