She continues to battle her cancer, after a lifetime of post-polio issues, and had some new chemo Monday and is not doing well.
I hope she can make it to the big party we have planned, that she wanted, at the end of September. Nieces and nephews and their families are coming from far and near.
I hope she and I can have a good visit this weekend and she can put her hurts from the church away and receive the sacrament of the sick.
I hope I can talk to her and help her understand God loves her and the church wants to help her get to heaven.
I hope my family can handle her leaving us. She is a special lady who adored her nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, and friends.
Thank you for joining me in prayer.
Update---Thank you for your prayers. Judy died peacefully in her own home this afternoon. Shocking, as we thought we had a little more time but welcome, as she did not suffer.
I am a little sad I am not going to have my visit with her.....
Thank you again. When my mom called to tell me I thought of all your prayers. You are a special bunch.

Awwwww...thanks ladies. I made it through the funeral. It was comforting and beautiful.
The hard part is now. Knowing I cannot talk to her on the phone at that phone number that has been the same for my whole life!
Before we left to go to the funeral I was throwing photos in an online album, in case someone in the family needed them, and I realized I hadn't been to CT to see her for 3 years! We talked so often I didn't even realize it!
